Stain Blocking Primer
Seal, block and build a better surface
A 100% acrylic water based primer for common architectural substrates, adhesion and stain control. Use it beneath our architectural and specialty finishes when the surface needs a more uniform, stable foundation.
Primer is vital, however...It does not replace properly cleaning, repair, or removal of loose and failing material.

Where to use it
Our general architectural primer
Recommended for wallboard, plaster, wood, ceiling tile, Masonite, many previously coated surfaces and selected non ferrous metal applications.

Primer tinting
General values 1 through 6 only
Stain Blocking Primer can be left untinted or tinted to General Collection values 1 through 6. Blacks, Vivids, Metals, Patina colors and General values 7 through 8 are not available.
Untinted
A practical default under lighter and moderate finish colors.
Values 1 through 6
Use a coordinating light to mid value when it improves the transition into the selected finish color.
